Louis takes such beautiful pictures, and the greenery right next to us is very nice. It is also rare, so we are truly blessed to be able to see it from several windows and our balcony.
Here is Davy playing with his hockey action figure in our very long hallway. You can see his tunnel behind him in his original bedroom.
See how long the hallway is? These walls will be excellent for artwork and is also an echo chamber.
Davy is having a lot of fun, and you can also see the way the lights are throughout most homes in this country, hanging lightbulbs from the ceiling.
This is our amazingly beautiful wardrobe. The bed matches, as do both nightstands. Davy calls this area Narnia and hides in here for fun!
You can see our beautiful red couches and pillows. Davy’s blanket is on what is called a pouf, and which now resides in our office/guest room for cross stitching and quiet time for Mommy.
Davy in his armor of God… But really, it is interesting to check out the red mop. You get these big cloths wet with floor cleaner and then attach it like those swiffer mops. It is also shown with the dustpan that we sweep instead of using a vaccuum because we have only tile floors, so there is no carpet.
We also have fans instead of air conditioning. The first two weeks of August are the hottest of the summer, so we were blessed to take the three days to Cyprus during that, and also you can make out one of the two chairs that match our two couches.
Had to put this in because Davy’s face is so expressive!
One of the lessons we have learned here is that weddings are very different. VERY FORMAL. So formal that the wedding of a couple from our team was not something I could attend. (Also, I took out the pair of heels I was going to bring to pack more of Davy’s toys.) Isn’t Davy great in Daddy’s dress clothes?
This ice cream as well as several handfulls of chocolate were free for Davy because the sweet shop loves him.
Also, this is breakfast time. One of the most popular breakfast foods is called Knaffe, which is a white cheese with sugar on top and a syrup with rose essence in it put in a sesame bun.
Davy wanted to show off more of our huge balcony, which is rare in Lebanon, we are so blessed. When we return from America we are planning on filling this area with an art area and plants. Davy wants to show off his ability to eat and play hockey at the same time.
Davy discovered his reflection, which gives you the opportunity to see our dining room set. We love our beautiful furniture. For being the first furniture we ever bought.
Davy loves balloons, which is great for exercise chasing balloons all over the house. Also, see our amazing couches that fold down into beds. Right now the other couch is in bed position in our guest room to await our incoming interns so they can stay here for at least the first night to do orientation. Be praying for the two interns that come this September!
